How Did Sunflower Baby House Start?

About 2 decades ago, there was a scarcity of schools offering infant or early years care, leaving parents, especially new mothers returning to work, with limited options.  It was more common for children to be enrolled at two years old rather than as early as two months. Sunflower Baby House was founded to offer new parents confidence that when their baby cries, someone is there to attend to them and shower them with love and care while they worked.

Understanding the pivotal role of early years education in a child's development, our founder, Angela, aimed to create Sunflower Baby House as a place where children could receive optimal care and support. Angela envisioned a nurturing environment with stimulating activities, nutritious meals, and ample opportunities for play and social interaction to lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

At our early years centre, we provide a warm, nurturing environment akin to a home away from home. Here, children's emotional needs are met, their interests nurtured, and their individuality respected, creating a place that parents also cherish.

Our Educators

At Sunflower Baby House & Preschool, our educators meet the accreditation requirements mandated by their certification levels set by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).

To ensure continuous professional development, our teachers participate in Continued Professional Development (CPD) courses, briefings, and conferences organized by ECDA. Additionally, they engage in regular in-house trainings throughout the year.

We maintain a low teacher-child ratio to foster optimal teacher-child interactions, creating a conducive learning environment where your child receives the best care and attention.
